Deadpool 2 Directed by David Leitch & Starring Ryan Reynolds

Ryan Reynolds, Josh Brolin, Zazie Beetz , T.J. Miller , and Brianna Hildebrand

Check out the final trailer of Deadpool 2 .The trailer for the Ryan Reynolds-film features a handful of references to other recent and upcoming superhero movies, like when the Merc with a Mouth’s voiceover says to Cable, “Pump the hate breaks, Thanos” (Josh Brolin plays both Cable in Deadpool 2 and Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War). And after Cable calls Wade Wilson “just a clown dressed up as a sex toy,” he responds with this quip: “So dark — are you sure you’re not from the DC universe?”

In classic Deadpool style, the sequel looks like it’ll feature a lot of slapstick violence, explosions, flying motorcycles, kicks to the face, and goofy one-liners, like Deadpool’s breather in the middle of a gunfight: “Ohh, your bullets. They’re really fast.” The film is a superb return from the Ryan Reynolds hitting us all in the solar pleus with his wicked sense of humour and violent streak. He is on fire in this superior sequel.

After surviving a near fatal bovine attack, a disfigured cafeteria chef (Wade Wilson) struggles to fulfil his dream of becoming Mayberry’s hottest bartender while also learning to cope with his lost sense of taste. Searching to regain his spice for life, as well as a flux capacitor, Wade must battle ninjas, the yakuza, and a pack of sexually aggressive canines, as he journeys around the world to discover the importance of family, friendship, and flavour – finding a new taste for adventure and earning the coveted coffee mug title of World’s Best Lover.

Releases in UK cinemas & IMAX May 15.
